Our 7th annual Toy Drive was a part of our on-going Community Support Drive. The goal of the support drive is to give back to the communities that have supported us for the last 40 years. We’re ecstatic to say that since its founding in 2020, we’ve been able to raise almost $200,000 and help a variety of deserving organizations.
After receiving all the toys this year, we met up with Zahra Hannan, Impact NW’s Development Coordinator at Impact NW's Dancing Tree Family Center. She was excited to see all the toys donated to the families they serve.
After unloading and snapping some pics, we talked for a bit. She was telling us how it was her job to play Santa and get all these toys to the families. With so many families in need, she said it was a lot of organizing and driving around, but it is the best part of her job to see the reactions from the kids.
Zahra later emailed us saying, "I know how much this drive means to you and how hard you worked… As usual we were blown away by Rick's generosity!! People went above and beyond."
