RICK'S COMMUNITY SUPPORT DRIVE PARTNERS

Rick's - Building Strong Community

“It was really important to me that it wasn’t just ‘we are going to hand you this money, we are going to take a picture of you with this check, and then we are going to go away.’ That wasn’t what we were trying to start with this Community Drive. I wanted to make sure our donations had a lasting impact because we want to say ‘this is what we did, and this is why we did it, and here’s how we’re backing this up with actions.’”

— Taylor Pawley, Rick’s Fencing and Decking Marketing Coordinator and Rick’s Community Support Drive Organizer

Rick’s has begun partnerships with many amazing organizations as part of the ongoing Rick’s Community Support Drive. Learn a little more about the impact of these donations and about the organizations themselves by visiting the sites below.

Meet our Partners:

Partner since 1990

Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. When a wish comes true, it creates strength, hope and transformation in a child – and a community. A wish renews hope, uplifts spirits and encourages the belief in the impossible.

Impact NW logo

Partner since 2020

Impact NW’s mission is to prevent homelessness by partnering with people as they navigate their journey to stability and opportunity. Since the COVID-19 crisis began, all Impact NW services have been creatively transitioned to ensure all families are served remotely including phone check-ins, consistent and culturally-specific food boxes, providing seniors with safe transportation, and more. Consider how you may also be able to help contribute essential items directly to the organization.

“The generous donation from Rick’s Custom Fencing is transformative for programs like ours. During COVID, many resources that assist with items for move-ins have been impacted and or limited. We have programs where they simply don’t have funding for essential items. The amazing kits and donation will help many families have the items they need to be healthy, safe, and thrive.”

– RJ Stangland, Assistant Director Housing and Safety Net Department, Impact NW

“We can’t thank Taylor, Rick, and Rick’s Custom Fencing enough for the support and outreach they have offered us over this year! The reach they gave our message is priceless and the funds to support our work will make the difference for the program today and in the future, but most important, it will make a huge difference for the youth and families we serve, especially those who are struggling during this crazy time.”

– Jana Cole, Development Director, Maurice Lucas Foundation
